National Philanthropy Day in Berks County. In 2007, the Berks Regional Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals produced its first ever National Philanthropy Day. We are proud to announce that our 3rd celebration is scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2009, at the Crowne Plaza Reading, 1741 Papermill Road, Wyomissing. The annual breakfast honors individuals, corporations, foundations, and volunteers for their extraordinary philanthropic achievements in Berks County.

In order to recognize the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible in Berks County, we need your involvement! Please join us by nominating an individual, couple, or organization for any of the following awards:

Outstanding Volunteer
Outstanding Corporation
Outstanding Foundation
Outstanding Philanthropist
Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy
Outstanding Fundraising Professional

The nomination process is simple! Please click here to download the nomination packet including criteria and further instructions.

If you choose not to nominate someone for an award, please consider our Distinguished Honoree Program. This non-competitive program is a great way to recognize your special volunteer/donor at our National Philanthropy Day Ceremony. Details will be forthcoming in a few months.

Thank you for supporting the Berks Regional Chapter in our efforts to increase the visibility of philanthropy in our community. Together, we can "Change the World with a Giving Heart."

Sincerely,
