Are you looking for a unique way to recognize a volunteer or donor who has made an impact on your organization?

Be part of a very special event and show appreciation to that person or persons that are so important to your organization during AFP Berks National Philanthropy Day Awards Breakfast by naming your special individual, couple, family, or organization as a 2009 Distinguished Honoree! The ceremony will take place on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza, 1741 Papermill Road, Wyomissing, at 8:00 a.m.

The Distinguished Honoree Program is not competitive! Anyone who is submitted by a non-profit organization will be recognized at the AFP Berks National Philanthropy Day Awards Breakfast.

Each Distinguished Honoree receives: Public recognition at the Awards Breakfast; A gift from the AFP Berks Regional Chapter; and Recognition in the National Philanthropy Day Program (based on the biography and photograph you submit).

Here is how to submit your Distinguished Honoree:

Submit a brief biography (no more than 250 words) and two different photographs of the Distinguished Honoree. A statement on how your honoree has made a difference for your organization and the community should be included. Please include the name, title, organization, address, telephone number, and email address of the individual submitting the Distinguished Honoree from the sponsoring organization.

The sponsoring organization agrees to host the Distinguished Honoree with a table of 8 individuals for $250 in order to celebrate the occasion. Please remember to attach your list of attendees!
